Forgetting your purse or wallet (we've all been there) won't hold you back anymore, as Apple Pay allows permanent tsb customers to make payments in store directly from their device’s Apple Wallet, wherever you see the Apple Pay logo.
And remember that tedious task of typing in your card details for every online shopping transaction? That's a thing of the past now, as Apple Pay is also compatible with online and in-app purchases.
You don't need to worry about those pesky hidden fees and spending limits we all dread, as there are no additional fees when using Apple Pay and, unlike contactless card payments, there’s no €50 limit.
And you can rest assured that your bank card's details are as safe as they've always been, as Apple Pay requires Face ID, Touch ID or Passcode authorisation when making payments. For added security, your Visa Card details are never sent to the merchant when using Apple Pay.
It’s sure to suit the Apple technology you already own as your Visa card is compatible with Apple Pay across a wide range of devices. In-store payments can be made with all iPhone models later than the iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch, while your iPad or Mac can be used for online purchases. You can find a full list of compatible devices here.
And it seems like the good news just keeps on coming, because getting set up looks pretty straightforward too.
You can get set-up with Apple Pay quickly and easily through the permanent tsb mobile app or through your device’s Apple Wallet so added convenience is only a few clicks away! If you need any help getting set up, permanent tsb have created some handy how-to demos that you can watch here.
