We think it’s safe to say the summer is well and truly over but rather than be down about the colder months creeping in, we’re looking forward to the best things about autumn and winter.
In case you’ve forgotten what those are, we’ve got you covered...
1. Winter wardrobe
Cosy jumpers, nice boots, woolly hats and long coats – what’s not to love about that?
2. A nice fire
There is nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa with a blazing fire going and a good book or film (speaking of which television is ALWAYS better during the colder months).
3. Halloween and Christmas
We know it’s too early to talk about the latter (although it is only 100 days away) but there’s also Halloween to look forward to.
4. Hot chocolate
Don’t forget the marshmallows and cream!
5. No more fake tan
Put the mitt down and pick up the tights.
6. The possibility of a snow day
A day off work? We’ll take that!
7. Onesies and slipper socks
Bedtime is fun again.
8. You can use your duvet
You’ll be able to sleep soundly again, you won’t wake up all sweaty and you can turn on the electric blanket. Heaven.
