Technology giants Apple have scheduled a 'big' event for September 9th and a number of sources have confirmed that it is the date that the company plan to launch the eagerly awaited iPhone 6.
The release date for ninth model in the iPhone line was reported to be pushed back to a time later in the year following some difficulties with the gadget, however it looks like we may start putting the pennies away again.
Few details are known about the new iPhone 6, however it is expected to come in two different sizes of 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches, with the smaller device being made available first.
Apple are previously known to launch new products in September time and according to the Wall Street Journal, distributors are believed to be preparing to produce up to 80 million of the new handsets by the end of the year.
An new iPhone has been unveiled every year since Apple began selling cellular devices back in 2007 and according to the Telegraph the company have sold more than 500 million units to date.
We cannot wait to get our hands on one of the new devices.
