Winter is the season for colds and flu, but it doesn’t have to be. For the next few weeks we’re going to suggest easy ways to avoid the chesty coughs, runny-noses, sore heads and expensive trips to the doctor.
The fall in temperature can have several different effects on the body, particularly our skin.
One way to look and feel glowing this winter is so simple. Exfoliate.

Dead skin can clog pores and create blockages. In order to maintain healthy and glowing skin all year round, it is essential that we exfoliate.
Exfoliating removes dead skin cells, making way for cell renewal. This in turn enables products that prevent things like chapping and dryness brought on my the cold weather, to work effectively.
Honey And Brown Sugar Face Mask
Exfoliating the skin is one of the most important beauty treatments for all skin types.
This brown sugar scrub is particularly effective at removing dead cells, dirt, sebum and pore impurities.
Brown sugar is one of the mildest natural exfoliators.
Mix & Apply
1. Simply mix together 3 teaspoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of honey in a bowl.
2. Apply the paste all over the face, using gentle circular motions to scrub.
3. Wait for the scrub to dry for approximately 15 minutes.
4. Wash off with cold water and pat the face dry.
