"We have no immediate plans to charge".AIB customers have been using contactless payments for over five million transactions a month and this number continues to grow. The service can be used on purchases of €30 or less by touching your contactless card or mobile device (using Android Pay) to the terminal without the need to enter their PIN. The idea of the service is to make it as quick, if not quicker, than using cash and is used by most banks in Ireland.
