"Received a text like this example claiming your ‘card is locked’? This is not a genuine AIB message. Please do not respond."The text message purports to be from AIB and tells customers that their debit card has been locked, and to ring the phone number provided to unlock it. One of the telltale signs that it's a fake is that the number provided is a British one. Here's what to expect from the scam:
