Saunas are class. They're warm. They're dry. They're generally a quiet space where nobody talks so you can enjoy the silence and the warmth and the presence of other human bodies to your heart's content. Excellent scenarios altogether. For most of us, however, saunas are generally restricted to the gym or the spa. We don't get to experience them in the wild. They're a treat, after all, reserved only for the days when we drop an obscene amount of cash on a facial or run one whole mile on the treadmill. Except now they may not be because Amazon is selling a build-your-own sauna for just over €4,000 that you can absolutely stick in your back garden and sit in with your mate. Beautiful. The sauna is an Allwood barrel sauna made from slow grown Nordic spruce so you know it ain't going to set itself on fire. It's a DIY sauna, so unfortunately you do need to build it yourself if you do actually manage to order it, but hey, who among us hasn't enjoyed those sweet endorphins after successfully constructing a table from IKEA? There is, however, as with most things in this life, a catch. The build-your-own sauna currently does not ship to Ireland (because of course it doesn't), but if you wanted to somehow try do a Parcel Motel situation, we're sure you'd be able to suss it. Maybe. Don't quote us on that or anything. The product also sits four fully grown adults too so you wouldn't even need to sit in it and sweat all on your lonesome. You can have mates. Loads of mates.
