There are few things better than seeing a squirrel running around the gaff.
It’s surprising, it’s joyous, and it’s a special moment for all involved.
Squirrels generally seem like happy little lads booting it about the place, but not every squirrel has had it so easy.
Karamel, an adorable squirrel from Turkey, lost both of his front legs in a trap.
A tragic incident for anyone to endure – whether animal or otherwise – but Karamel didn’t want to let his injury stop him from having a bit of a run about.
He acquired himself some wheels and he now uses them to fly around the place with ease.

Or, some vets acquired the wheels for him and stuck them on now he’s delighted with himself.
Whichever.
According to ABC News, orthopedists at Istanbul’s Aydin’s University made Karamel some prosthetic wheels to help him on his way.
And we’ve never been so happy.
Look at him go there.
Just beautiful.
This isn’t the first time a lovely animal has been given some lovely prosthetics to make their life a bit easier either.
Who among us could forget the precious duck who was given a prosthetic leg so he could waddle where he pleased?
