Looks like Amy Huberman had a lucky escape when she was axed from that US show of hers.
The 33 year old actress was cast in the show earlier this year but was then dropped by producers shortly after it was picked up by broadcaster NBC.
Speaking about the setback, she told reporters: “My professional pride was hurt because everyone was saying it was a disaster.”
We’re not sure Brian O’Driscoll’s other half would say that now seeing as the show, called Animal Practice, has been slammed by critics.

Amy was meant to star in the show but was then axed from it by producers.
One of the more damning critiques came from New York Times which said it was the “type of low brow comedy that actually makes you stupider.” Talk about being harsh!
Although to be honest we can see where they're coming from. After all the plot of the show is based around a doctor and his, wait for it, monkey side kick.
To add insult to their injury, Amy’s career is thriving at the moment as the second series of Threesome is currently being shown on Comedy Central.
