It’s natural that your inner DIY enthusiasts emerges and forces you to covet homemade goods and reclaimed furniture.
Well, for anyone who feels their skills aren’t up to par to take on such a project, fret not, there is a Pallet Furniture Making Workshop coming to Dublin.
The three-week course aims to educate its students on how to make use of readily available storage pallets and states students will learn the skills and techniques required to create a functional piece of furniture from a shipping pallet.
The course leader Matthew Huber is a self-taught woodworker from Kansas City, Missouri, USA. He has been building furniture for 24 years. In recent years Matthew has been making furniture and sculpture from reclaimed and found materials using traditional hand tools which he refers to as Guerrilla Woodworking.
The course is €145 and takes place in Block T.
