The Screen Directors Guild of Ireland (SDGI) has announced that there will be a three-day event, Digital Biscuit, in Dublin next year.
But that’s not the really exciting part as three award-winning directors will be attending the event to talk about the importance of Ireland becoming a technological leader in both film and television production.

David Yates, who worked on Harry Potter, will be attending.
As well as David Yates who worked on half of the Harry Potter film franchise, Gareth Edwards who directed Monsters and Oscar-winning Toy Story director Pete Doctor will also be present.
Speaking about the event Ciaran Donnelly, Director and Chairman of SDGI, said: “This is an opportunity for directors to continue to embrace the future of the digital age.”

Ciaran Donnelly, who worked on The Tudors, is excited about the event.
Digital Biscuit is due to take place on January 24th – 26th next year. During the event the public will also get to see the latest cameras, tablets and computers.
