It’s the show that has captured the minds of the nation and now it seems that Homeland will be coming back for a third season.
The hit drama is only halfway through the second series on RTÉ at the moment and has taken more twists and turns than we don’t know what!
It begs the question as to where the writers and producers see the story going for the next series. Not that we’re complaining about watching Damian Lewis and Clare Danes for another year.

Damian Lewis and Clare Danes are the stars of the popular drama.
Showtime president, David Nevins, told reporters: “The Emmy wins for Homeland have certainly set the stage for a great second season.
“The writers, cast and crew of Homeland continue to create a remarkably entertaining and suspenseful rollercoaster ride, growing audiences week after week.”
Let’s just hope they don’t end up going overboard. After all, too much of something is just as bad as not enough!
