These days, when you’re planning on popping the question a flash mob is seen as a very romantic way to publicly declare your love.
However, when that question is a simple ‘Wanna go on a date sometime?” – the grand gestures are probably best avoided. This lesson was learned the hard way for poor old Allison, an American schoolteacher who appeared on TV show ‘Mobbed’ in the US this week.
(The fact that there is a television show entirely dedicated to using flash mobs for said grand gestures seems a bit much… but that’s an argument for another day.)
Allison has the mother of all crushes on her co-worker Carey, but no indication of whether he might feel the same. A gut feeling perhaps, but sometimes it’s best NOT to trust your gut.
Watch how it plays out in the video above, and prepare to cringe… then remember that these two still have to work together, and cringe a little more.
