Barack Obama's second inauguration is currently taking place in Washington DC and singer, close personal friend of the Obamas and the most powerful woman in pop, Beyonce took to the podium in the last hour to sing the US National Anthem.
Queen B belted out "The Star-Spangled Banner" with gusto to a crowd of approximately 800,000 people. She was seen removing her earpiece halfway through but whatever technical issues were going on it certainly didn't seem to bother her.
Now if only we could get her to have a go at "Amhrán na bhFiann" for All-Ireland Final day. She's already got Irish Dancing mastered, how hard could it be?
