This bizarrely-addressed letter proves once again that Irish postmen are legends

I mean, HOW did it get to right house?

Cathy Donohue

This isn’t the first time a letter with a ridiculously vague address has made it to the right house but that doesn’t make it any less impressive.

Previously, we’ve praised postmen in Roscommon and Cavan but on this occasion, it’s all about Waterford.

Featured on The Ray D’Arcy Show today, the below letter was addressed to Petra Kindler and Donal Moore.

That’s all perfectly normal, until you get to the second line.

“Unfortunately I forgot the street name but it’s near a street named Cul de Sac,

“The beautiful city of Waterford, well known for it’s kindly postmen [sic].

Somehow, the letter ended up at the right address and in fairness, credit where credit is due to the hardworking postman who managed to deliver it.

The tweet was shared by Will Hanafin, producer of RTÉ Radio’s Ray Darcy Show and unsurprisingly, it’s been getting a lot of attention.
