To support the Normalise Breastfeeding Movement, Maria Corry shared a photo of her breastfeeding her daughter.
The North Carolina mother captioned the photo: “I am not typically one to ever do this as I am very private when nursing, but with all this nonsense about people bashing other mothers for nursing, I decided to post this”.

However, the photo was reported five times with Facebook users describing it as ‘inappropriate’.
Maria didn’t take the criticism lying down and decided to share another photo, this time holding a poster of a lingerie model while breastfeeding.
Her post has since gone viral with almost 37,000 likes, 8,000 shares and the story has featured in several major publications.
