Things just keep getting better and better for Brendan O’Carroll and his alter-ego Mrs Brown.
Together they have landed a BBC primetime game show which will see two members of the public compete with the help of five stars.
O’Carroll’s well-renowned character Agnes Brown is set to host the quiz show which will air on BBC One next year.

Mrs Brown's Boys has become a success both in Ireland and the UK.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Mirror, O’Carroll said, ‘It will be fun to see how Mrs Brown copes with a quiz as she knows as much about trivia as my backside knows about snipe shooting.
‘Mrs Brown is always up for a new adventure. It’s great to be part of the BBC One family.’
O’Carroll is in the middle of writing a Mrs Brown film which is due to be filmed in Ireland in the coming months.
