Former Westlife star Brian McFadden is hoping to revive his music career in Australia with an album of Irish song covers.
According to the Irish Independent the 32 year old has covered a number of big name acts from the last two decades including The Cranberries, Van Morrison, Sinead O’Connor and Aslan.

Aslan are one of the bands Brian turned to for inspiration for the album.
In fact the first single off the record is a cover of Aslan’s ‘Crazy World’ which features the band’s front man Christy Dignam.
Ronan Keating is another famous Irish singer you can expect to hear on the album due to be released down under later this year.

Brian has been working alongside Dannii Minogue on Australia's Got Talent.
While Brian has been focusing more on his television projects lately, including Australia’s Got Talent alongside Dannii Minogue, this move shows that his heart still lies in music.
