Bridesmaid betrays bride in the worst way possible before her big day

The bride was left "shaking and in tears"

Grim.

There are certain things you do and don’t do as a bridesmaid.

You do help organise the bride’s hen, buy a load of penis straws, and make sure there’s enough alcohol present to fill a small pool.

You don’t kick up a fuss when your bridesmaid dress isn’t the exact shade of blue you had envisaged it being.

You do be honest about what dress the bride looks best in so she doesn’t look like a bit of a mess on the big day.

You don’t post a photo of the bride in said wedding dress on Instagram before the wedding actually happens.

That last one is so obvious it shouldn’t even have to be explained.

Everybody in the world knows that that would be a horrible thing to do a bride-to-be before she got married.

… And surely, no bridesmaid in the world would even consider doing it.

Except for this one.

Tanya is a woman who is part of a bridal party. She is also potentially the worst bridesmaid in the world.

An anonymous post shared by a bride-to-be on women’s website Mama Mia! said that she had Tanya as her bridesmaid and that her actions left her “shaking and in tears.”

The bride wrote that she had been trying on dresses for a long time.

She had a great bridal party to support her decision-making process and the gals had been sending her dress-inspo for months.

When the anonymous bride-to-be finally found the perfect dress she was, of course, delighted.

However, she said that later that day she received a phone call from another bridesmaid named Sandra that shocked her to her core.

“Sandra informed me that another bridesmaid, Tanya, who is a close friend of mine from school, had shared a picture of me in the wedding dress I purchased on her Instagram account.

I wasn’t even aware the picture had been taken. I was hopping in and out of dresses so frequently during the fittings that I wasn’t really paying attention to what was going on around me.

I assumed Tanya was simply on her phone, I didn’t know she was snapping pictures.”

The picture had been posted a full eight months before the bride’s big day.

And to make things worse, when Tanya was confronted about the uploads, she refused to take them down.

“When I confronted her, she was immediately defensive.

She argued with me and said she couldn’t understand why I was upset when she didn’t have any of my friends or family on her Instagram account.

She insisted no one would have seen it and that I was making a big deal out of nothing.”

We’re almost certain sharing secret pictures of someone else’s wedding dress isn’t “nothing” Tanya, but sure, you do you girl.

The bride-to-be continued to press Tanya to remove the picture from her public Instagram account, but she simply would not give in.

She then demanded to know who had ratted her out leading to Sandra having to block Tanya on all social media.

Anon bride said that she doesn’t know what to do.

She’s already put forward a $3,000 deposit on the dress and can’t really afford to start from scratch again.

“I feel like there’s no surprise or excitement around my dress anymore. Every time I think about it I want to cry and can’t imagine walking down the aisle in this dress anymore.”

She’s even considering removing Tanya from her bridal party because of all the hassle she’s caused, but she doesn’t want to “cause more issues.”

A sticky dilemma if we ever saw one, but there is one thing we do know for certain – Tanya will never be asked to be a bridesmaid again for as long as she lives.
