Bridesmaids Cast Member Joins The Arrested Development Crew

There has been a lot of excitement around the return of Arrested Development for a fourth series and the person that seems the most excited about the entire project is none other than Jason Bateman who has been spilling about the new series all over the place.

According to E! Online, Kristen Wiig has now been signed on to appear in a cameo for the show. The actress will star as the young Lucille (Jessica Walters).

Bateman was gushing about her appearance, commenting: "Kristen and I did not work together on the show," he said. "But we worked together before and I just think she's...What can you say? I get a little star-struck around her. She's pretty great to say the least."

The actor went on to say that the cast were very fortunate to have Kristen involved, along with another actor who has been confirmed, Seth Rogen.

When asked about the other possible inclusions for a short list, Bateman went quiet: "The list is endless. You could really put anybody on that show."
