Yes, it has been announced that author Helen Fielding is bringing out a new Bridget Jones novel in November.
Helen Fielding is bringing out a third Bridget Jones novel this year.
According to The New York Times the title has not been revealed but the publisher did say that the next instalment “represents a totally new phase of Bridget’s life.”
Fielding also said in a statement: “My life has moved on, and Bridget’s will move on, too. I hope people will have as much fun reading it, as I am writing it.”

The first two books were adapted for the big screen.
The last time we left her at the end of Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, she was back with Mark Darcy which could lead to any number of things.
Whatever the plot is, we are seriously looking forward to it and have no doubt that it will be just as hilarious as the last two. Speaking of which, we’re off to watch the film versions starring Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth…
