If you were the proud owner of a Nokia handset at one stage or another, you’ll know how great the game of Snake is.
Nokia’s CEO, Rajeev Suri, says that the company could release a new phone model as soon as this year.
According to METRO, the phone making part of the company was sold to Microsoft in 2014 and the terms of the sale meant that Nokia could not put its name on phones until the end of last year.
Speaking at the Mobile World Congress, Rajeev said: “We almost owe it to ourselves to go experiment in the consumer area.
“We’re not in a hurry. There’s no rush, there’s no timeline. It [the release of a phone] could happen in 2016, it could happen later”.
There’s no word yet on whether the new model will have Snake but we have our fingers, toes and everything else crossed.
