You say holiday in the sun, we immediately associate it with drinking wine in front of a stunning view.
And if you immediately think of this too, then we might have found the dream job for you.
There is a company in the UK that is looking to hire someone to drink wine while on holiday and of course, you get paid for it too.
Majestic, the largest specialist wine retailer in the Uk is looking for a Vintern to do what most of us pay to do anyway, and the pay for the role isn’t too shabby.
The idea behind the role is to help Majestic see if wine tastes any better aboard or when you’re drinking it at home.
And you don’t need to be an expert in wine tasting to apply, all you need is to be willing (which I am sure we all are).
Described as the “best summer job ever”, it consists of a three day trip to Portugal and you get to bring a friend with you.
You will travel to the Quinta Da Boavista vineyard in Portugal to sample wine from Majestic’s Spain & Portugal Summer Case for three days before coming home to do the same there.
With a £600 fee for the three’s days abroad, your flights and accommodation are also paid for by Majestic.
The trip doesn’t only consist of wine tasting, you’ll be given a full holiday experience with a guided tour of the vineyard in a horse and carriage, a visit to the wine cellar and barrel room and you’ll get to sample some premium olive oils.
And of course, you’ll get a three course lunch with wine, but we wouldn’t expect anything less.

Applications opened on August 3rd and close on August 19, so you’ve got more than enough time to apply. The successful candidate will be heading on the trip sometime in September.
