Channing Tatum’s new film Magic Mike, due out next week, is getting a lot of attention and quite rightly so.
After all it stars some of Hollywood’s hottest men as strippers. And it is based on Tatum’s real-life experiences as a dancer before he rose to fame with films including Step Up and Dear John.
Just when we thought going to the cinema to see it was going to be a treat, it has now been revealed in the media that the story will now be transformed for a Broadway musical show.
It has been reported that Tatum and director Steven Soderbergh will be very much involved in the production which is due to hit Broadway next summer.
However nothing has been said about who exactly is to act in the stage show. All we can say is that if they are basing it on who stars in the film, we will be among the first in line to buy tickets.
