Popular series Charmed is to return for a tenth season in the form of a new comic book series.
Announced to return this autumn, Zenescope Entertainment Editor-in-Chief, Ralph Tedesco said that he was “so glad to announce this news”.
"Charmed fans are an extremely rabid and loyal group” he added.
"They write us all the time, asking about season 10 since it's been almost two years since the last issue was released”.
The fantasy-drama originally aired for eight seasons on TV and relaunched in 2010 as a 24-issue comic, making the ninth season.
"We're happy to let them all know that it's been worth the wait - we're coming back with a brand new arc and a ton of surprises that we feel will absolutely satisfy hardcore Charmed fans, while also appealing to new readers" said Tedesco.
Season 10 is to make its debut at New York Comic Con in October with its original writer Paul Ruditis editing the series and Zenescope's Pat Shand writing the new story.
Last year it was announced that CBS were planning to reboot the series.
