Hollywood actor Christian Bale has described the conclusion of the Batman trilogy as ‘bitter-sweet.’
This week sees the release of the final instalment of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy The Dark Knight Rises.
According to online reports Bale revealed ‘I wasn’t sure that Chris was going to make a third one, and it’s meant a great deal in my life, so it is bitter-sweet. But he’s saying it is time to say goodbye, so it’s time to say goodbye.’

And what a goodbye it is going to be. The Dark Knight Rises is probably the most anticipated film release of the year and so far reviewers have given it a massive thumbs-up.
The film also stars Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman.

The final film, The Dark Knight Rises, is out this Friday.
