Introducing Jingle Cats – a kitten collective making their mark on the Christmas music scene!
Even if you’re not a cat fan, this video made by music producer Mike Spalla is genius. The group of electronically animated kittens made their debut back in 1992 with Jingle Bells and this year, the festive felines are taking on the classic Silent Night.
So, what made Mike decide to dedicate his time and talents to producing cat carols? Apparently, his cat Cheesepuff meowed in a studio sound booth when Spalla was recording an instrumental version of Jingle Bells and as Cheesepuff was perfectly in tune with the music his owner decided to see if other cats could do the same and so Jingle Cats was born.
Jingle Cats – a nine-piece band – have managed to successfully claw their way onto the American music charts and have also released a CD Meowy Christmas. That’s another stocking filler sorted then...
