You may want to add a particular destination to that list of yours. Travel and Leisure Magazine has voted San Miguel de Allende, the colonial era city in Mexico, it’s top city of 2017. Many of the magazine’s readers took part in a survey which concluded that San Miguel de Allende was their absolute favourite spot they visited so far. The results were determined by the quality of food, culture, hospitality, landmarks and overall value. Steeped in history, culture and boasting some amazing Spanish architecture with a Mexican twist, it’s no wonder the city situated in Mexico’s central highlands took the top spot.
