Hit TV show Homeland has been confirmed for a 12-episode fifth season due to air in 2015.
The news was revealed earlier this week after the success of this year’s season. The drama, which stars Claire Danes, has earned a cult following across Ireland.
It was also revealed that The Affair will carry on into a ten-episode second season.
“With thought-provoking, relevant and addictive storylines, both series have been embraced, dissected and much debated week after week,” said Showtime network president, David Nevins. “We’re excited to see more from these complex shows in 2015.”
