Confirmed! X Factor Presenter Gets The Axe

It would be fair to say that Khloe Kardashian looked more than a little uncomfortable as the X-Factor USA presenter; the reality star even admitted the whole thing made her nervous. Now, it seems that she won’t have to worry about it anymore as X-Factor USA have confirmed that she will not return for the next series of the popular show.

Officials from the show announced that Khloe will not be returning today, but have confirmed that Mario Lopez will return. However, there was no statement about whether Mario would be helped out by a co-presenter.

In an official release from the show, X-Factor bosses commented: “Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host The X Factor. We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors."

Simon Cowell was also quick to weigh in on how delighted he was that Lopez would be returning: "I’m thrilled Mario is back for Season Three of The X Factor. Hosting a live show and keeping the judges – especially Demi – in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro and we are glad he’s coming back."

Khloe had stated that she would have been more than up for returning to the show, but did confirm that she was quite nervous about the gig. Rumours have been circulating for quite some time that she would not be back this season.

On top of that, Cowell is finding it a little difficult organising his panel this year with Demi Lovato the only confirmed judge. Britney Spears and LA Reid have already informed fans they will not be making a comeback.
