The former Cork county hurler has opened up about his struggle.
Conor Cusack, the former Cork county hurler, made an appearance on last night's Prime Time to discuss his battle with depression.
The appearance came following a blog post that Cusack published where he described how the illness affected him. The hurler barely left his house for five months and couldn't see an end in site until he sought help from a clinical psychologist who put him on the right track.
His blog post is a powerful piece of writing and his message is clear, there is hope. Read the full post here. It's arguably one of the best articles you will ever read.
