There are a few tired heads today after half the country rose at half five this morning to see Conor McGregor take on Jose Aldo. Not only did McGregor win, he did so in 13 seconds flat which is a feat people can't fathom at all. The Dublin native is now UFC Featherweight champion and he took to Facebook to thank people for their support thus far. Read it in full below: Thank you for all the kind messages! I am extremely grateful and proud to be in the position I am in. To the naked eye it was 13 seconds, but to my team and my family it has been a lifetime of work to get to that 13 seconds.
