The event included a corgi costume contest and corgi races for all the dogos in attendance. They came dressed as racehorses, sharks and even pieces of sushi – we know, too fecking cute! Speaking about the success of this year’s event, organiser Cindi Lunn told local news CTV News:Had a great day at Corgis Of BC Corgi Beach Day!! So many friends!! “People just love [corgis]. They bark at you and give you love and they’re cute and they’re stumpy. “I think people can just kind of relate to them being a little bit different, sometimes too.”

After the success of this year’s celebrations, organisers are already planning for an even bigger event next year.
