The X Factor celebrates its eleventh birthday this year but after a miserable turn-out at the initial auditions, it looks as though the reality TV show might be in trouble.
First-round auditions were held in Glasgow on Thursday and the usual crowd control measures were taken with TV bosses expecting people to turn up in droves.
However, according to various reports, the city’s Ibrox Stadium was largely empty on Thursday.
We won’t worry too much yet as Simon Cowell has big plans to get high-profile names performing during the live shows.
The music mogul is also planning a shake-up of last year’s judging panel.
Although Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is set to return, Mel B and Louis are said to be leaving while Rita Ora has been rumoured as one of the replacement judges.
