When NBC announced that it wouldn't be renewing the popular series Community for a sixth season, you might have heard hearts break all across the globe. Well, worry no more. The hit show has now been picked up by Yahoo and will head for a sixth season. Show creator Dan Harmon will also return for the sixth season of the show: “I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a large audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, Big Bang Theory. Look out, Bang Bus!” Joel McHale added: "Thank you Sony. Thank you Yahoo. Thank you Dan Harmon. And thank you to the greatest f%$#ing fans in the history of the human race. It's the internet. We can swear now.” The new series of the show will be aired on Yahoo's streaming service. Community was cancelled by NBC after five series.
