Simon Cowell reportedly stormed off the X Factor set after Saturday night's show, following comments made by new judge Mel B over one of his acts.
The former Spice Girl got on the wrong side of Cowell when she accused his act Fleur East of "cheating" by using loud backing vocals during her performance of Monie Love's It's A Shame in the second week of the live shows.
Cowell quickly jumped to her defence, accusing Mel of trying to make his acts look bad, but it seems that the row continued once the cameras stopped rolling.
According to The Sun, Simon was "absolutely furious" over the slur and refused to speak to his fellow judge when the show ended.
"He has really moulded Fleur and he thinks she’s got a real chance of winning the competition, going on to have a great career and ultimately making him a lot of money. There’s nothing worse than being branded a cheater and even at this stage of the show, it could be a difficult tag to shake off.
"Usually after Xtra Factor, the judges will have a bit of a debrief and a chat, but Simon was so angry he stormed off to his dressing room. Mel didn’t want to see him either, so she stayed holed up until 1am and didn’t come out until pretty much everyone had gone home"
