Dáithí Ó Sé is making his return to the small screen this evening but it seems the ex-weatherman still feels a certain loyalty to his former onscreen partner.
Dáithí’s new chat show Today kicks off today (yes we did just go there) and sees the 36-year-old sitting alongside Maura Derrane.

But according to the Irish Sun, the newlywed feels like he is doing the dirty on his former Daily Show co-host Claire Byrne.
He told the newspaper: “I’ve known Maura for a long time so it’s good fun – I feel like I’m cheating on Claire Byrne, but she’ll have to get over that.”

Maura, who hasn’t been on air for over six months now, is also looking forward to getting started on the new programme which will air on RTÉ One at 4.30pm Monday to Thursday.
“I’m dying to get my fangs into something again. I came off the air at the end of March… so I’m looking forward to getting back into it,” she explained.
This week the duo will be joined by a range of guests including model Rozanna Purcell and author Cathy Kelly.
