Daniel Craig has revealed that he has been trying to get out of the James Bond franchise since he agreed to do it!
The actor who has played the famous spy for five years now, and is currently enjoying the success of the latest instalment Skyfall, reportedly wants to quit.
Craig stepped into Bond’s shoes back in 2006 for Casino Royale.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: “I’ve been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it.”
And while his character might be able to get out of a tricky situation with ease, Craig isn’t so skilled as he is already signed up to appear in another two Bond films after the latest one.
The latest instalment has been praised by critics and audiences.
“They won’t let me go, and I’ve agreed to do a couple more, but let’s see how this one does, because business is business and if the [bleep] goes down, I’ve got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their ass with,” he explained.
Somehow we don’t reckon he’s going to be able to leave after Skyfall considering the reception it has gotten so far!
