Most of us apply anti-perspirant the minute we get out of the shower.
However, according to new research published in The Verge, this is a common mistake and you should, in fact, apply your deo the night before for best results.
This is because antiperspirant works by clogging up the sweat glands in your armpits, and applying the night before gives it more time to soak in and get to work before you go about your day.
Even if a little residue washes off in the shower in the morning, the antiperspirant will already have taken effect.
The problem with applying in the morning is that apparently, you will have already started sweating and the antiperspirant can't quite reach down into the ducts.
