This Wicklow home has its own cinema room and an absolutely glorious staircase

Sometimes, a house doesn’t need to be showy on the outside to be incredible on the inside.

That’s definitely the case with this beautiful gaff in Wicklow that’s just come on the market.

Mountain Springs in Killiskey is a family home whose exterior barely hints at how luxurious it is once you step through the doors.

The entranceway features the sort of natural light that Room To Improve can only aspire to and a staircase that was made for dramatically sweeping down, or maybe posing for a debs photo in front of.

Beyond that is a kitchen that looks straight out of one of the Kardashians’ homes, boasting lots of open space and a floating island.

The house has a gigantic living room with its own bar, a stately dining room, five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

There’s also a very generous conservatory and a cosy office.

The best part of all? The cinema room, perfect for movie nights.

It was only bought by its current owners in 2017, who are now selling up to move back to New Zealand.

Niall Manning, a Kiwi, and his Irish wife Kerry put lots of work into the house over the past two years.

“We always said we’d just come for a couple of years to spend time with family so it was never our intention to stay here permanently,” Kerry told the Irish Independent.

“While we love our lives in Ireland, we feel the move back to New Zealand is right for us now and we’re all looking forward to it.”

The asking price for the house is €1.75 million.
