If the sky above you is looking a little grey today, don’t be too dismayed.
Our spectacular summer weather isn’t abandoning us just yet, and it looks like it’s about to get even better in the week ahead.
Though today might be a little duller and cooler than the weather we've very quickly grown accustomed to, the skies above us clear again this coming week, and the sunshine is sticking around.
Today, the good folks at Met Éireann report;
The very fine summer weather will continue for next week and next weekend. It will remain dry all the time except for an occasional summer shower. During the first half of the week temperatures will be in the range 20 to 24 degrees but towards the weekend it will get hotter again and by next Saturday and Sunday values of 27 and 28 degees will be attained. The breeze will continue to remain light throughout the week, with sea-breezes along the coast. Nights will be close and humid with patches of fog developing, but these clearing quickly during the morning.

Various reports even suggest that the all-time Irish record high of 33.3C, recorded in 1887, could be broken this week. Dear Met Éireann, have we told you lately that we love you?
