Over 300 drivers lit up a runway in a remote part of Peru so that a plane carrying sick people could take off.
The small aircraft, which had three people requiring medical assistance onboard, didn’t get clearance for takeoff due to inadequate lighting.

But after a shout-out by a local radio station over 300 drivers turned up to help. They used their headlights to light the runway which then enabled the plane to leave.
It was carrying a mother and child who had suffered complications during birth as well as a teenager.
