This Dublin woman is looking for a man she met in the queue in Lidl

Straight in my basket.

A Lidl bit of love.

A woman has this week taken to social media in an attempt to reconnect with a man she met in a queue in a Dublin Lidl store.

The anonymous lady posted in a Facebook group called ‘You know you’re from Dun Laoghaire when…’, via an admin, looking to track down her Romeo, reports the Independent.

Clearly the woman regretted not chatting up the mystery man who caught her eye in the checkout line.

She wrote;

“Were you in Lidl, Deansgrange today, Tuesday 13th June at approx 2:15. You purchased cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and water? I’m the lady that let you ahead of me in the queue & we exchanged a few words. I wish I’d had the courage to find out if you were single without coming across as completely deranged. If you know who this man is, please get in touch with Admin.”

Even the store itself got in on the action to help with the search.

We’d be interested to see how this one pans out… they could even make it down the aisle. Badum-tsh.
