This €2,000-a-night cottage is set to open its doors in Laois and OMG, the GLAM

It's like something from an old movie!

Wow.

If your agenda for the summer is to spend a night living like royalty well, we know where you need to check-in to.

Ballyfin, the five-star country house hotel located in County Laois has just announced their latest luxurious accommodation option and it’s like nothing we’ve seen before.

The Gardener’s Cottage, located adjacent to the main house, with accommodation spread over two floors and views out across Ballyfin’s 614 acres of private parkland, walled gardens, ancient wood and 28-acre lake is the latest offering from the luxurious hotel.

The cottage literally looks like something straight out of a Jane Austen novel and we feel like donning our finest robes and spending the day sitting, gossiping and drinking tea in this secluded lap of luxury.

And although the cottage is just a short stroll from the main house, guests staying here will also have access to their own golf buggy to drive themselves around the estate at leisure or they can be driven by one of Ballyfin’s butlers.

Just LOOK at these rooms…

Speaking on the launch of The Gardener’s Cottage, Damien Bastiat, General Manager of Ballyfin said:

“Since Ballyfin opened as a hotel in 2011, The Gardener’s Cottage has been in a state of disrepair and it has been a long-term goal of ours to transform it into guest accommodation. This year it has finally been realised and we’re delighted to have brought The Gardener’s Cottage back to life.”

Gorge. The cottage, however, is still not open to the public but will be once the final fire checks are complete. You can enquire and book via their website here.
