Hot on the heels of the news that Mark McCabe and the Vengaboys will be bringing some 90s cheese to this year's EP, yet another exciting attraction has been added to the festival.
Europe’s first cereal café will be landing on Irish soil, in the form of a pop up in Stradbally this September.
Brothers Alan and Gary Keery, from Belfast, opened their first café in Shoreditch, London in December. They have since opened a second café in Camden, only six months after first opening their doors.
The café, which sells 120 different cereals from around the world, has proved a huge hit with tourists and locals alike. The brothers will also see the release of their first book in October this year.
Alan said: "Since opening, we have had huge support from everyone back home in Ireland, and we really wanted to give people there a taste of what we do. It may not be the full menu we have in the café, but we will be offering 6 of our most popular cereal cocktails (different cereal combinations with toppings and flavoured milks) poptarts, toast and coffee. It’ll be great to see how everyone reacts to it, as opening a café in Dublin has been a dream of ours."
Gary added: "You wont be able to miss us in our milk crate stand, and a bowl of cereal with ice cold milk is the perfect cure for those morning dry mouths."
Electric Picnic takes place this year from September 4th to 6th.
