We need to get a new joke.
As the blizzard conditions are dying down, and the stay in doors curfew has officially been lifted, most of Ireland is waking up to their front and back gardens covered in snow.
A red weather warning remains in place for Munster, Leinster and Galway, but it has been downgraded to an orange weather warning in Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo.
While the snow accumulation is no laughing matter, it still hasn’t stopped people from making the same joke over the last few days. And, it’s an old one too.
