Eat, drink and be merry at this cornucopia of festive magic!

One of the very best things about the festive season has got to be immersing yourself in all the delights a traditional Christmas market has to offer.

Admiring the crafts on display throughout the many stalls and sampling the delicious nibbles available from food vendors is an incredible way to spend an afternoon, and is sure to put you in festive form.

From 8-21 December, Christmas at the Castle will be returning to the historic courtyard of Dublin Castle and will transport visitors to a dream land of festive wonder.

Running from 3-10pm daily, Christmas at the Castle has something to appeal to everyone – even the grumpy Grinches among us will find their hearts filled with Christmas cheer as they wander through this boutique open-air market!

With over 26 craft vendors positioned throughout the courtyard in traditional alpine market stalls, finding the perfect gift for everyone on your list just got a whole lot easier! From handmade ceramics and wooden crafts to jewelry, fine art and unique ornaments, you can keep your Christmas shopping small and support local with ease.

Since no trip to a Christmas market is complete without sampling a little something from every food stall, you certainly won’t go hungry at Christmas at the Castle. Offering a diverse and delicious array of tasty bites, you’ll find everything from burgers and tacos to chocolate and churros! Sweet or savoury, your tastebuds will be taken care of.

Pulling out all the stops for this year’s festivities, Christmas at the Castle will also feature live entertainment each evening. With performances from Dublin Gospel Choir, New Dublin Voices, Playlist, Crux Vocal Ensemble and many more, you can expect to be rocking around the Christmas tree all the way home!

All set against a backdrop of twinkling lights, festive cheer and the historic grounds of Dublin Castle, this Christmas market is well worth the visit.
