Just when you get used to Facebook the way it is, they go and change or add something. It’s the timeline thing all over again! Only this time it’s about buttons.
Apparently Facebook are testing two new buttons called 'want' and 'collect' to go alongside the now famous 'like.' Both of these options will allow you, the user, to create wish lists of items which will then be displayed in your timeline under a new section entitled 'products.'
In other words, if you see a product that you want you can click 'want' and it will go onto a Facebook list which can be viewed by friends and family. Basically, it’s Christmas shopping made easy.
At the moment the company, who is said to be struggling, is working with a number of retailers to test out the two new options.
Speaking about it, they said: “People will be able to engage with these collections and share things they are interested in with their friends. People can click through and buy these items off Facebook.”
Sounds simple doesn’t it? Although it also sounds as if it might lead you or someone else to click on another button!

The click of the 'want' might just be followed by a click of the 'add to cart.'
