Another day, another senseless waste of an innocent life.

A man was shot and killed outside a McDonalds in Las Vegas on Sunday, all because he didn’t hold the door open for a woman. Mohammad Robinson, 31, was a father of two and had just left the fast food establishment when the incident occurred. https://twitter.com/AntonioNews3LV/status/770396665249275904 According to his mother, who spoke to a local news outlet KVVU

“He was coming into McDonald’s and some female was going out. The door closed before she could get out and what happened is she said a few choice words to him.”

Police records state that the woman’s boyfriend decided to intervene, interpreting Robinson’s actions as being disrespectful and confronted him in the car park. An argument broke out between the two men, ending in Robinson’s untimely death. Robinson was rushed to the nearest hospital, the University Medical Centre, however he died from the injuries he sustained on Sunday morning. His 14 year-old daughter, Miniya Sampson spoke to the press, she said

“It was a stupid reason honestly, irrelevant. It doesn’t make any sense why would you actually take someone’s life over not opening a door?”

“He had the up most respect for his elders. Yes, ma’am-no sir. He’s not confrontational even when we would argue he would walk away”

The shooter in this senseless killing remains at large.  The family have set up a GoFundMe page and are asking for donations to cover the cost of the funeral. Currently the family have raised $2,100 out of their $3,000 target.
