This is the favourite phrase used by Dubliners… and you’ve definitely said it before

Can you guess what it is?

Olivia Hayes

Do you say it? Of course you do!

If you were born and reared in Dublin then you have no doubt said it, or heard one of your family or friends say it.

To be honest, most of the country have said it once or twice, so it’s certainly familiar.

But a survey carried out by JustEat has found that a Dubliner’s favourite phrase is…. *drumroll please* ‘C’mere to me’.

According to the survey, almost 34 percent of those surveyed voted for the classic ‘C’mere to me’ while ‘What’s the craic?’ came in second favourite with 30 percent and ‘Story?’ gained 12 percent of the vote.

The food delivery service wanted to find out the best things about the capital city, and also asked people what their favourite movie, dish, and place was in Dublin.

The Snapper was voted the best movie, while Grafton Street was voted the best landmark.

Also getting a shoutout in the landmarks section is the Ha’penny Bridge with 26 percent and Trinity College with 21 percent of the vote.

And of course, the spice bag was voted the city’s favourite dish.

Do you agree with these findings or do you think there’s more to Dublin that spice bags and Grafton Street?
